Jayasenacharya prays to Adi-Jina (Rishabha) as Siva. Further, Jain scholar Raidhu in his laudation writes of of Shankara (Shiva) as Rshabhadeva ignoring the effort to persuade Rishabhadeva to passion by [[Kamadeva|Kama Deva]], in his ''Megheshwara Charita''.
