Kemboi set a personal record time for the [[marathon]] distance in the [[IAAF]]-labeled [[Alpes-Maritimes Marathon]]. In October of 2010, as water was pooling in [[St. Mark's Square (Venice)|St. Mark's Square]] and the city of [[Venice]] pulled up their [[galoshes]], Kemboi arrived to race.
