Sheed and Ward was a publishing house founded in London in 1926 by Frank Sheed and Maisie Ward. Its United States assets were acquired by Rowman & Littlefield in 2002, and its United Kingdom assets by the Continuum International Publishing Group,[1] which has since been subsumed into Bloomsbury Publishing.
The house published a number of major Catholic literary figures of the Interbellum and mid-twentieth century, including G. K. Chesterton, Hilaire Belloc, Vincent McNabb and Etienne Gilson.
