Myra later pays another visit to prison, hoping to reconcile with Diego, but she changes her mind after seeing Cassandra there with him. When Myra decides she wants Diego back, she convinces [[James Nightingale (Hollyoaks)|James Nightingale]] (Gregory Finnegan) to help her. James gets Myra to steal Cassandra's phone and he discovers that she has been drinking when she promised a court that she should stop, James then blackmails her to drop the case.

Lionel later visits the village, and learns from Sonia that Jade has died from cancer. Lionel attends the funeral, and at the wake asks Sonia to come live with him and his family in Belgium. She later takes him up on his offer and joins him.
