Rishi and Georgia's marriage falls apart and she begins a relationship with Rodney. Georgia stays in the village, supporting her daughter Priya through her anorexia and disapproves of her proposed arranged marriage. Rodney and Georgia's relationship ends, after they have different ambitions over their future. Georgia considers a reconciliation with Rishi, but decides to leave the village for a cruise instead. On 28 June it was announced that Georgia will return with [[Lin Blakley]] taking over the role from [[Trudie Goodwin]].
