Kriszta Doczy

Kriszta Doczy (formerly Krisztina Bodonyi) (born 9 October 1948 in Budapest) is a Hungarian Australian film producer and founder of Contemporary Arts Media, a distributor of art films.

Kriszta Doczy has worked with experimental theater companies in Europe for nearly twenty years. She has worked as movement director and choreographer with theater and dance companies [1] and has taught at universities and performing arts schools in Australia and US City University of New York. She established and managed a theater company, Shadow Industries (1996-1999), a physical theater training school (1993-1999) and a film production/distribution company, Contemporary Arts Media (1996 – present), recognized as a significant company for Australian artists. [2]

After finishing a degree in Psychology she now works as managing director of her company, Contemporary Arts Media. Based in Melbourne, Australia, CAM is an international production and distribution company of arts related films. She has collaborated with a number of Australian and international artists and producers including Stelarc, Richard Foreman, Sarah Jane Pell, Chunky Move, Kartemquin Films and more.
