She was also a regular cast member of ''[[Brookside (TV series)|Brookside]]'' 2002–2003, playing the part of [[Helen Carey]]. In November 2019, she appeared in an episode of the [[BBC One|BBC]] soap opera ''[[Doctors (2000 TV series)|Doctors]]'' as Yvette Froom.
 
Peers has also continued to appear on-stage, playing Nurse Ratched in an acclaimed version of [[One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (play)|One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest]] as well as roles in ''[[Paradise Bound]]'' and ''[[Billy Liar]]''.
