Christoph R. Hörstel (born 1956 in Bremen) is a German publicist and political activist. Hörstel founded the Neue Mitte party in 2013 and a short time later the small party Deutsche Mitte. He was the board member of the "Deutsche Mitte" until he left the party in October 2017 after criticism of the nature of the party leadership, the leadership of the party finances and the lack of transparency.[1]
In November 2017, Hörstel again founded the Neue Mitte Party and is its chairman.[1]
