The university promptly issued a statement saying that there was only one 'leaked' clip and that it was a personal video that the accused sent to her boyfriend in [[Shimla]]. The police denied any incident of death, injury or attempt to suicide in the aftermath of the video leak. “It's a matter of a video being shot by a girl student & circulated. [[First information report|FIR]] has been registered in the matter and the accused student has been arrested. No death reported related to this incident.
