Deletion 'David P. Bernstein

edit

Dear Bihco, I just saw that the autobiography article I created today (under the name 'David P. Bernstein') has been proposed for deletion, because it would not contain references to reliable sources. Could you maybe specify what is meant here, since I added various references to peer reviewed books and academic journal articles that directly support the material I included in the article.

Best regards, Lieke2012

I don't think he checks this page. He did this to me, too. Anyone know how to get speedily deleted pages back? 141.5.34.217 (talk) 19:20, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Bold textHi Bihco, I hope it's okay to write here. You deleted the article I had created earlier today, Current Swell. I tried to read section A7, but honestly, I still dont know what should have been different on the article for it not to be deleted. All I can say is: that band has 4 studio albums, 45 935 listeners on Lastfm, so they're big enough to be included, I think. (PS: I don't need userfication, I had saved a copy already) Ocilya42 (talk) 21:50, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Oops, just saw that you didn't delete it, *Malik Shabazz* did. Well. I asked my question here first, so leaving it here now! ^^ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ocilya42 (talkcontribs) 21:56, 8 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: Nudadiha

edit

Hello Bihco. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Nudadiha, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There is sufficient context to identify the subject of the article. Thank you. Nikkimaria (talk) 17:51, 5 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

BLP removal

edit

Hi, a few minutes ago I helped a helpee in the IRC related to Matthias Zimmermann (artist) and I removed your BLP PROD since it includes a full section of works/references written about him and his works. Regards, mabdul 15:33, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Mauro Covacich

edit

Hi Bihco, I saw you propose Mauro_Covacich (english version) to be deleted, because it appears to have no references. It appears strange to me that the same headword in portuguese, german, and italian hasn't the same problem, but that's it. I changed references in the page using first of all article, reviews, and other wikipedia headwords written in english, so to raise the comprehension and the comparison of what i wrote. Any suggests? May I suggest referencing WP:MOSISLAM or WP:SAWS in the edit summaries? Might (well, maybe on occasion) help prevent reverting. Thanks for the scrub! Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 17:35, 17 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your nomination at Redirects for deletion

edit

Just so you know, you haven't provided any explanation of what action you want taken with your RfD nomination of Messenger Muhammad PBUH. I'm assuming you're advocating deletion, but even that isn't clear, as RfD has numerous possible outcomes. I'd recommend you include some sort of reasoning if you want any action taken on the page.--Fyre2387 (talkcontribs) 21:50, 20 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Going by my experience, I don't think he will. It's incredibly frustrating and not the welcoming atmosphere we should be fostering on Wikipedia. Drnathanfurious (talk) 17:45, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

YASD (Yet Another Speedy Deletion)

edit

I notice that you deleted Hallucinations (book). May I ask why? All of Oliver Sacks's books have pages explaining their content, and when Hallucinations is published people will want to know about it.

Wikipedia is already rife with random, senseless deletions, which are driving away contributors. Don't be part of the problem, please. Drnathanfurious (talk) 06:25, 26 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

You are Useless

edit

Why are you going around deleting pages? Do you contribute, or just delete other people's work? You still haven't responded as to why you deleted my page. Drnathanfurious (talk) 17:41, 30 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Bill Roy profile

edit

Dear Bihco,

I am brand new to wikipedia and noticed you edited the page "William Burton Roy" that I just created. There are a few problems I can't seem to figure out on photos and "wikifying" it. Could you help please? I was one of Bill's cadets at the academy and noticed he didn't have a page created under his name on the Olympic skeet shooting winners list, so I decided I'd make one for him kind of as a surprise that I will show him this week.

Any assistance to make it a clean copy would be so appreciated. I know you don't have to or likely don't want, but I'm just asking. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ncstorm (talkcontribs) 06:12, 14 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: VanJess

edit

Hello Bihco. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of VanJess, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Thank you. Martijn Hoekstra (talk) 14:43, 3 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Freddie Bourne, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Morristown, The Voice and Pop (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Spoonhook

edit

Hey, I saw that you don't like the new game called spoonhook. I'm sorry to tell you that it is not a hoax and that you are probably just not aware of this game. It is very popular in the northeast and some parts of South Florida. It is a drinking game that is in its fledgling state however that does not make it a hoax. Beerpong is referenced on this site so the content of the post should not merit its removal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jefizdaman (talkcontribs) 00:10, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

PBUH etc.

edit

Hi Bihco, this is about your editing 'pbuh' from the article Criteria of True Prophet. Well this removal from the main body of articles is in order, but when one Quotes a passage from a source... probably should stay on... (because then it is not Wikipedia but a reference !) --ڈاکٹر محمد علی 12:33, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Christopher Dragoo may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
