The 2014 Singapore GA drive was a collaboration, coordinated by Hildanknight, to polish Singapore-related articles that are close to meeting the good article criteria. Its target was that in 2014, 25 Singapore-related articles would achieve good article status, taking the Singaporean WikiProject's GA tally to 100. This was achieved with the promotion of Middle Road, Singapore on 9 December 2014. In total, the drive caused 23 Singapore-related articles to attain GA status, which combined with 3 independent promotions (Xiaxue, Kelvin Tan and Aleksander Duric), meant 26 new Singapore-related GAs in 2014. The success of the drive helped to counter systemic bias and recognise the quality contributions of many Singaporean Wikipedians. Planning for the 2015 GA drive has started.

Group A: SMU Law articles

edit

Group A consists entirely of articles that were written by the SMU Law programme. All articles are in excellent condition. If any nomination is placed on hold, Chensiyuan and professor Smuconlaw have agreed to help address concerns, especially when legal knowledge is needed.

Sixteen articles were nominated, resulting in twelve new GAs.

Group B: NTU Language articles

edit

Group B consists entirely of articles that were written by the NTU Language programme. Although comprehensive and well referenced, the articles need considerable cleanup. Tasks include ensuring proper citation formatting, converting lists to prose, ensuring summary style and miscellaneous copyediting. Hildanknight will do most of the dirty work but at least one other editor is needed to assist.

Five articles were nominated. All nominations were failed, but with useful feedback, and the articles will be selected for the 2015 drive.

Group C: Architecture and Geography

edit

Group C honours the excellent work of former prolific article writers Aldwinteo, AngChenrui and Sengkang. Identification of potential GAs among their numerous DYKs is in progress. Some are very close, but others need copyediting or other cleanup. Hildanknight will do most of the dirty work but at least one other editor is needed to assist.

Twelve articles were nominated, resulting in seven new GAs.

Group D: Miscellaneous

edit

Group D comprises of potential GAs that do not fit into any of the above three categories.

Seven articles were nominated, resulting in four new GAs.
