Title italics (Prose Tristan vs Prose Tristan)

[edit]

This article's displaytitle was recently changed from Prose Tristan to Prose Tristan, so I thought I'd check what the reliable sources normally use. As a sample, I checked the ten most recent English language results from JSTOR containing the phrase "Prose Tristan". Here are the number of instances for each format:

  • Prose Tristan: 6
  • Prose Tristan: 2
  • prose Tristan: 1
  • prose Tristan: 1

It seems pretty clear that Prose Tristan is most widely used. Would anyone object if I made the change back? ‑‑YodinT 14:27, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just copying in @RandomCritic: and @Rublamb: in case of objections! ‑‑YodinT 16:33, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I changed it to be consistent (the article had both formats as I recall) and to match the Wikipedia article Prose Tristan. I don't object to your proposed change but think the related article should be updated at the same time. As I recall, you have to change the infobox to a non book/publication because it automatically italics the title when thosed are used. Do you have time to fix both articles? Thanks Rublamb, I've just gone through all articles that link here with AWB to fix the title formatting. ‑‑YodinT 12:27, 15 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
