Español: CIUDAD DE MÉXICO, 08JULIO2017.- La escaramuza es la división femenil del deporte nacional de la charrería. El objetivo es mostrar las evoluciones o "suertes" que las jinetes y caporales pueden realizar a caballo. Tradicionalmente las rutinas son acompañadas de música regional. Cada cuadrilla de escaramuza, siendo las de Rancho San José, Selección Nacional de la UNAM, La Metropolitana de Charros "La Tapatía", Rancho La Joya, La Villa, y del Peñón, las más importantes a nivel nacional, visten trajes típicos con vibrantes colores y accesorios. Al comienzo de cada encuentro realizan una oracióncolectiva a la Virgen María, patrona de las escaramuzas. Generalmente los equipos están conformados por 8 o10 integrantes, lo que representa más de 100 caballos en ruedo. La escaramuza y la charrería han traspasado las fronteras culturales de México, llegando a Estados Unidos y Canadá en donde realizan torneos similares a los nacionales. FOTO: MAJO MARTINEZ |
