Function details: It runs daily and checks if there have been any user talk pages added to Category:Administrators without tools since its last run. If there have been, it then sends notifications to (appends Template:GetMop/Notice to the talk pages of) users who have signed up at Wikipedia:Administrators without tools/Endorsers. It gets links to user pages and user talk pages on that page using mw:API:Links to get the list of users.

I'm just noting here that the bot sent out its first round of (7) messages (see User:TolBot/Task 9/Log#GoingBatty for diffs). There was a problem with logging which made it send messages twice; I've fixed this. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 18:04, 2 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Trial complete. @Primefac: see User:TolBot/Task 9/Log for edits. I didn't disable the task, even though the trial is over, so that any messages between the trial's end and approval are still sent; please let me know if this isn't allowed. Everything worked fine on the second round. (Though, because I linked to my userpage in the bot's signature, it pinged me in each of its messages. Getting seven pings in a few seconds was a bit frightening. I've muted notifications from TolBot, so this should solve that.) Tol (talk | contribs) @ 00:09, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've come here to also acknowledge that the trial has run its course and to thank everyone involved in its facilitation. In particular, Tol has been great in taking up the task and in fulfilling every desired technical need hoped for in the original request.
