Thank you for the support regarding re-naming AIM-174B to "AIM-174." I managed to get the discussion re-opened after a "no consensus" closure, so that is a good step, but I suppose we'll see. Yes, the user name/IP name is struck or hidden now. I think it was listed as "Username or IP removed" but not with line through it (for being blocked) then as it is now. -Fnlayson (talk) 21:46, 31 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Picard's Facepalm: removing a username or IP is one of the options when conducting a revdelete to remove a specific edit. It's really rare to see it done to a username (typically only happens in cases of gross abuse), and tbh I'm not actually sure how to view the original username to confirm (it's not the same process as viewing a revdeleted edit).
