12 carriage limit

[edit]

The UK SWT section talks about 444+450+444 exceeding the 12 carriage limit. What exactly is this limit, who set it, and why? I can't find a reference on any other wikipage. -mattbuck (Talk) 00:26, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Desiro ML

[edit]

This train probably now deserves a separate article, or at the very least to be generalised from just the Germany section as it has been ordered by the SNCB (300+) and the ÖBB (up to 200). I've tried splitting the article into sections for the different types of Desiro, as they are not all the same. It needs lots of more references, but I got fed up.Wheeltapper (talk) 19:23, 8 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
