In a few cases, maintenance does not extend to the signed end, and the route used to continue further, so the traffic counts don't have the current length. See the south end of Hwy 19 for example.

Years are not exact. Most currently come from [1], and need to be checked against reliable sources. --NE2 02:40, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Decommissioned 11A

[edit]

I've added an entry for decommissioned highway 11A, taking details from here. Someone needs to create an icon for it.

This was basically the alternate route to Yonge St. by taking Avenue Rd., the side streets around Upper Canada College, Avenue Rd. again, Queen's Park, University Av., and York St. to the lakeshore. The northern end was highway 401. Before 401 was built, Avenue Rd. used to angle over to meet Yonge St. near the present Yonge/401 interchange, and I assume 11A included that part of Avenue Rd. as well, so that it branched off 11 (which then included Yonge St.) instead of just running parallel to it. This is just a quick edit-and-run -- I gotta go. --142.205.241.254 (talk) 23:46, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Highway 407, 412, and 418 shields

[edit]

The article shows a white on black shield for Hwy 407, 412, and 418 which is inaccurate. Highway 412 and 418 need the blue shield with the TOLL tab, while the 407 needs the ETR shield as well as the blue shield with the toll tab. Andrepoiy (talk) 16:36, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! One of the caveats of switching over from hard-coded tables to templates, and I completely glossed over that error. I've fixed what I know how to fix, I'll get someone to show me how to put the Toll banner under the shields for 412 and 418. - Floydian τ ¢ 18:17, 3 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
