Here's a question for visitors: I run the Glen Cook Wiki, which goes much more in-depth about the books, characters, and locations (granted, it's still a work in progress). I would like to make interwiki links from each of the sections here on this page - book series, individual books, etc - to my wiki (which also runs on MediaWiki, the software Wikipedia runs), to allow seamless transitions from this page to mine. However, Interwiki links do not show up as "external". Does anyone have objections to this? Please let me know on this page, or my talk page. GuruBuckaroo 04:48, 10 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for whoever added the comment to the Glen Cook Wiki - it wasn't me, honest. I'm fairly proud of the work my contributors have put into the site. I am, however, in desperate need of translators - I've got a small wiki family going on over there now, with German, French, Polish, and Russian versions - however, the most populated non-English version has but three articles, one of which was translated with Babelfish and needs fixing badly. If anyone speaks those languages and would like to help translate, the effort would be very much appreciated. I'll be doing an interview this October with Glen Cook at the Archon Sci-Fi convention and posting it to the Wiki. GuruBuckaroo 22:23, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

new Garrett Title

[edit]

Locus now reports the title to the new Garrett book to be "Cruel Zinc Melodies." Previously, I thought it was "Cruel Zinc Memories." I email his editor at Ace and she confirmed that "Melodies" is correct.

"Glen Cook Fan Page" has died, which is a shame. It was a great resource. 99.1.41.21 (talk) 23:10, 10 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So it has. I've removed it from the "External links" section. Thanks for the tip -- CWC 13:57, 11 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

MileHiCon Interview?

[edit]

The link for the MileHiCon interview seems to be dead. It first goes to a redirection page, and then finally claims that the resource cannot be found.

I found what may be the same interview on archive.org - https://archive.org/details/Milehicon43-GlenCookInterview

3rd Force Reconnaissance Company

[edit]

Marine Corps has a 3rd Force Recon Company but no 3rd Battalion Force Recon — despite what cited source says. Navy physicians, chaplains, or hospital corpsmen serve with Marine units. So the details of his Navy service with Marines is implausible. Whine, complain. 😃 AndersW (talk) 02:15, 12 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
