Argh, why did Wikipedia have to slow down the moment I was trying to post this?! Anyways...

I have blocked you for 1 hour for violating the 3RR rule, disruption, and incivility. Please give me a moment to write up a full justification. ~MDD4696 01:48, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

:The WikiTruth article is not a candidate for speedy deletion because it does not satisfy the criteria on WP:CSD. The point you cited, CSD G4 "Recreation of deleted material" does not apply in this case because the current article had been completely rewritten. Articles are usually deleted under CSD G4 when the new content is identical to the deleted content, or an article has been through the AfD process and the subject deemed unfit for Wikipedia.

:Regarding your block: Strictly speaking, you did not violate the 3RR rule just now--I made a mistake. You did act inappropriately by vandalizing WCityMike's user page , making incivil comments , and by escalating the disagreement by reporting the incident to WP:AN and WP:3RR. I had blocked you for 1 hour to give us all some breathing room, however I will block you again for a longer period of time if need be.

:Your block will expire in a few minutes. I recommend that you avoid editing the Wikitruth article for some time now. There is currently no need to contact WCityMike either. If you choose to do either, that's fine, but realize that taking a short break may be beneficial. Please leave any questions or comments you have on my talk page, thanks. ~MDD4696 02:44, 21 April 2006 (UTC)

Revision as of 02:44, 21 April 2006

Read BEFORE Posting:

 • Vandalism and other offensive commentary/trolling will be deleted expeditiously.
 • If you want me to respond/take your comments seriously, sign them with ~~~~.
 • Be sure to be signed in. Anonymous users will have their messages deleted without comment.
 • I will respond on your talk page, but I will not return to your talk page after that unless you've responded on my talk page. Sounds convoluted, but I'd rather be editing articles than reading your talk page.
 • Add your comments to the bottom of the page.
 • If you don't agree with a change that I've made to an article, please let me know nicely and I will address the issue.

Welcome!

Hello, Ardenn, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or place helpme on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  karmafist 21:48, 29 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Help

What do you require assistance in? --ZsinjTalk 01:50, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

User:Mdd4696 blocked me claiming I violated 3RR when I did no such thing. User:WCityMike violated it, but he didn't block him. He was also incivil towards me. Ardenn 01:51, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
On the page cited in your block log, evidence has been gathered to support a 3RR/incivility case against you. It's only for one hour: Take a break an dfind something else to do. --ZsinjTalk 01:54, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I know what it says, but I DID NOT violate 3RR, yet WCityMike wasn't blocked and he did violate it. Ardenn 01:55, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'm responding to the helpme. If this is about your block, then please stop using helpme for that. You were very uncivil at WP:ANI, I think you are lucky that the block was only for 1 hour, perhaps if you don't calm down 24 hours would be more appropriate. Who cares if you violated 3RR, the block is very reasonable based on incivility alone. Let it be, take a break. Incidentally, unblock would we the correct template to use, but I sternly recommend against using it in this case. If this helpme is not about the block, then ask your question as usual. --Commander Keane 02:21, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Can you tell me more about the dispute resolution process? Ardenn 02:24, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Resolving disputes has a good description.--Commander Keane 02:38, 21 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Ardenn (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I was unfairly blocked when another user should have been blocked and was not.

Notes:

 • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
 • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:
