Advice
This is my response to your request for advice on my talk page. You seem very passionate about the causes you advocate, and that kind of passion could be channelled into something more tangible than making anti-soda edits on Wikipedia. Fortunately, there are several ways you can do so. First, you could start a website or blog about your cause. Second, you could start a student organization ("Students Against Soda/Sugar" or what have you). Third, you could lobby your congressman/woman to take an interest in your issue. Fourth, you could contact the Food and Drug Administration, Dept. of Health and Human Services, or any other relevant government agencies and ask them to take stronger stances on your issue. Fifth, you could contact a health-related lobbying orgainization and ask them to advance your cause (I bet they would be happy to have you as a university or region volunteer, as well). I wish I could provide more specific contacts, but i'm sure a little bit of google searching would provide quick answers.

In any event, your admission that you passionately hate soda companies probably means it would be wise if you stopped editing soda-related articles. Remember, Wikiepdia is an encyclopedia, and our information must be unbiased and verifiable. I can't force you to stop making these edits, but in my own experience, I've found that it's best to stay away from articles that I feel strongly about (unless something is just blatantly wrong). Thanks for the question. - Jersyko talk 16:51, May 31, 2005 (UTC)

Please stop making changes to what people have posted on votes for deletion, as it is considered vandalsim. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be banned from editing. - Jersyko 12:28, May 12, 2005 (UTC)

Please discontinue voting more than once in a single vote for deletion. Again, if you continue to vandalize pages, you will be banned from editing. I recommend reading the Wikipedia:vandalism page, particularly the "sneaky vandalism" section. Note that continuous vandalism will get you banned. - Jersyko 03:19, May 17, 2005 (UTC)

Welcome

Dear 68.170.0.238,

Some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Andrew Lin may not be well-known enough to merit articles of their own. The Wikipedia community welcomes newcomers, and encourages them to become Wikipedians. By starting an account or logging in, each user is entitled to a user page in which they can describe themselves, and this article's content may be incorporated into that page. However, to merit inclusion in the encyclopedia proper a subject must be notable. We encourage you to write or improve articles on notable subjects. - TigerShark 22:56, 13 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Don't edit others' user pages

Please don't edit others' user pages. Comments for users may go on their talk page, accessible by clicking the "discussion" tab at the top of the screen. Also, remember to treat other editors with civility and respect. Feel free to ask me if you have any questions. — Knowledge Seeker 21:02, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Warning

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to being blocked from editing. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. -- Rama 22:23, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Failed to stop, so blocking. -- Karada 23:32, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

If you recreate this article, which was deleted by a valid Votes for Deletion vote, again, you will be blocked from editing. RickK 23:50, May 25, 2005 (UTC)

He's done it twice since you posted this. Please block. Also, note his sockpuppets Andrew Lin and KellyClarksonTV, among others. - Jersyko 23:46, May 26, 2005 (UTC)

Stop Vandalising Wikipedia

Wikipedia is not a place to "raise awareness" about your little anti-soda/sugar/whatnot crusade. See What Wikipedia is not. Start a web page. Start a blog. Start a support group. Doing what you're doing is simply going to get you banned, but for a longer period of time . . . - Jersyko 00:21, May 26, 2005 (UTC)

Blocked for 24 hours. If you do it again, you'll be blocked for 48 hours, etc., etc., etc., Got it? RickK 23:57, May 26, 2005 (UTC)

Wikipedia is not a soapbox

Wikipedia is not a soapbox. Wikipedia is not a soapbox. Wikipedia is not a soapbox. Thank you for your time. - Jersyko 01:25, May 28, 2005 (UTC)

warning

Information icon Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. --W(t) 07:11, 2005 May 28 (UTC)

Things you should read

Aside from the previously mentioned soapbox article, please read this article about wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. You obviously know quite a bit about the subjects you tend to write about, but your writing would be much more effective and no one would change what you've written if you would adhere to those two policies in your edits. Thanks. (p.s. it's "jer-sī-cō" if you must know) - Jersyko talk 17:59, May 28, 2005 (UTC)
