Paloma San Basilio (born on November 22, 1950 in Madrid, Spain) is an extremely gifted singer, famous for her potent voice and her lasting relationship to spanish tenor Plácido Domingo. She married Ignacio Gómez. She plays the spanish version of Evita musical in the theatres of Madrid and Barcelona. She represented Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest 1985 in Gothenburg, Sweden, with the sad ballad La fiesta terminó (The party ended), but wasn't exactly recognized for her effort, finishing only 14th.
