Križevci (Hungarian: Keresztúr) is a village in the Gornji Petrovci Municipality in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia. It gets its name from a chapel dedicated to The Holy Cross that used to stand in the village, but pulled down in the late 19th century.[2] There is a large Evangelical church in the village, built in 1785 and extended in 1885. It is one of the earliest Evangelical churches in Prekmurje.[3]
Milan Kučan, the first President of Slovenia, was born in the village in 1941. The writer János Berke lived in the village.
