- In Korean hanja, the right component is 茲, which contains the grass radical.
- A CJK compatibility ideograph exists at

for the alternative form used in Taiwan which is similar to its Korean form. - In historical Chinese dictionaries such as Longkan Shoujian 《龍龕手鑑》 (997 AD) and Jiyun 《集韻 (Jíyùn)》(1037 AD), the right component is written 玆 (duplication of 玄).
