1. Any of several species of moth that somewhat resemble bumblebees in coloration.
   1. Abraxas grossulariata (magpie moth).
   2. Aphomia sociella, a pyralid moth.
   3. Hemaris diffinis (syn. Haemorrhagia diffinis, snowberry clearwing).
   4. Hemaris thysbe (hummingbird clearwing).
