George Bush High School

George H. W. Bush High School is a secondary school (9-12) at 6707 F.M. 1464 in unincorporated Fort Bend County, Texas with a Richmond mailing address with a ZIP code of 77469.

Bush is a part of the Fort Bend Independent School District and serves several areas of unincorporated Fort Bend County, including Mission Bend. The school colors are navy, orange and white while the school mascot is the Bronco.

The high school is named after the forty-first president of the United States, George Herbert Walker Bush.

History

Bush opened its doors to students on August 16, 2001. The sophomore and junior class consisted of students from Kempner High School and Austin High School.The school's marching band, the George Bush Bronco Band, advanced to the UIL Area Marching Competition in 2006.

The George Bush Boy's Soccer team finished third in the district in 2003. In 2008, they finished second in 2008 with a total of 15 wins: the most in school history.
