Welney is a
village andcivil parish in thethe Fens ofEngland , and thecounty ofNorfolk . The village is situated immediately to the west of parallelOld Bedford River ,River Delph andNew Bedford River , which are here crossed by theA1101 road . The village is some 15 km south-west of the town ofDownham Market , 30 km south of the town ofKing's Lynn and 70 km west of the city ofNorwich .
