Abstract.

This paper presents recent achievements in the field of analytical application of conducting polymers, most of which were published in the last five years. Based on 171 references mainly to original papers in international scientific journals, the applications of conducting polymers in the design of electrochemical and optical sensors, enzymatic biosensors and immunosensors are reviewed together with applications in analytical preconcentration procedures and high-performance separation techniques.
