Currently, the NCI is not distributing research samples from the Open Chemicals Repository
Collection, which includes all vialed samples and plated sets, to investigators
outside of the United States and U.S. Territories.
The Developmental Therapeutics Program makes available small
amounts our Open Chemical Repository compounds for research
purposes to investigators . The researcher should
determine the requirements of the research, then request the
minimum amount of each compound. There is a limit of 40 compounds
per 30 day period. Although there is no fee for each sample, we
require recipients to cover shipping charges by supplying an
account number from Federal Express
In addition,
researchers will be required to pay any applicable local duty
charges.
These samples are not available for human use or for use in
food producing plants or animals. Most compounds have been obtained
from external sources and only a very small number of the compounds
have been analyzed by the NCI. We, therefore, can not guarantee the
purity and/or structural integrity of most samples.
