A cooperative problem-solving process in hierarchical organization

Abstract

In this paper, we present a model for a cooperative problem solving process. The model consists of four distinct phases: Recognition, Skills' Search, Agents' Choice and Execution. These different behavior-driven phases of our model describe the circumstances under which agents will identify the need for cooperation, and how these agents will behave when such situations arise.
