Modelling Maintenance and Renewal in Petri Nets

Article Preview

Abstract:

Abstract. In this contribution we are dealing with simulation techniques for efficient use of computing of the schedule of the process of maintenance and renewal. Maintenance and renewal process is modelled on the basis of Petri nets. Thanks to this approach we can simulate the process of improving the maintenance in order to optimize key criteria of renewal and maintenance. The proposed solution is demonstrated on two illustrative examples.
