In Japan, a scientific methodology for determining the content of elderly care to be provided has not been established. In this study, we aim to develop databases consisting of the ADL (Activity of Daily Living) information required for our proposed “Process Model for Determining Elderly Care for ADL”. We developed the databases by considering the relevant literature and discussing the results with a group of professionals. Then, we modified the databases by applying them to actual cases. Further, we conducted a retrospective validation utilizing actual cases to confirm the adequacy of the databases.
