Abstract: In the product whole life cycle there are many BOM views named xBOM that are designed and used by different departments for different purposes. In order to keep the data in the BOM views integral, correct and consistent, a mathematic model is presented to deal with the transform among them. It is realized to transform into Manufacturing BOM from Design BOM（EBOM） and Process Planning BOM（PPBOM） by three special parts and the relevant mapping functions, which are defined as the virtual parts, intermediate parts and collaborating parts. Hereafter based on the MBOM, it is rapid to construct the other BOM views.
