Welcome to the First International Workshop on Quantum Software Engineering: The Next Evolution (QSE-NE), co-located with ESEC/FSE 2024, taking place on July 16th, 2024, in the beautiful locale of Porto de Galinhas, Brazil. This workshop is aimed at advancing the field of Quantum Software Engineering (QSE), by providing a venue for discussing novel quantum-specific software engineering tools, processes, techniques, frameworks, models, and best practices.
