In 2020, the Brazilian Symposium on Human Factors in Computing Systems - IHC - celebrates 22 years since its first edition, in Maringá - PR, with the Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering (SBES), 1998. Since then, the event has grown and consolidated itself as the leading national HCI conference in Brazil, promoting the meeting and interaction between researchers, industry professionals, professors and students to discuss the state-of-the-art in the area, both in terms of research and in terms of its practical application. The event encourages collaboration between different groups, disciplines and geographic regions. The IHC is promoted by the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) through its Special Commission on Human-Computer Interaction (CEIHC).
