A comparison of software engineering knowledge gained from student participation in humanitarian foss projects

Abstract

This poster reports on student opinion of the Software Engineering knowledge gained by students exploring a Humanitarian Free and Open Source Software project. Eight students in a non-majors class and eleven more-advanced software development students were surveyed pre- and post-course on their opinions of technical and professional knowledge gained.
