Abstract
This paper introduces a skeleton-based approach of automatically generating DENG-XIAN, YUAN-TOU and HU-PO typefaces and discusses some algorithms used in generating these fonts.

Lu Bo was born in 1972. She is recently a graduate student in Computer Science Department of Nanjing University. Her research interests include computer graphics and font techniques.
Cai Shijie was born in 1944. He graduated from Nanjing University in 1967 and is recently a Professor in Computer Science Department of Nanjing University. His research intests include computer graphics, user interface design and font techniques.
