Conclusions
The effect of the degree of polyamidation of polycaproamide on the strength of technical-purpose yarn has been examined.
It has been shown that the change in strength upon change in degree of polyamidation can be described by a simple mathematical relationship whose numerical coefficients depend on the “preorientation” of the yarn and the stretch ratio.
