Part of the book series: Computational Imaging and Vision ((CIVI,volume 13))

Abstract

In our countries, breast cancer is the most common cancer amongst women. The only way of reducing mortality is the early detection of this cancer by X-ray mammogram. Among the main signs which are look for in mammograms are microcalcifications, although these are not symptomatic of breast cancer. New parameters will be necessary, for example, the understanding of the 3D shape of the cluster. The aim of our study is to carry out the 3D reconstruction of the cluster of microcalcifications.
