Der Beitrag beschreibt die wichtigsten Abstraktionsebenen für die Simulation digitaler Schaltungen und Systeme. Schwerpunktmäßig werden die Simulatoren der Gatterebene betrachtet. Es werden die unterschiedlichen Modellierungsverfahren der Elemente und Signale erläutert und die gängigsten Berechnungsverfahren diskutiert.

Summary

This paper describes the usual abstraction levels for the simulation of digital circuits and systems. The main subject of the paper is the describtion of simulation methods of gate level circuits. The different modeling methods of the elements and signals will be illustrated and some calculation methods will be discused.
