Summary

In sociometric research, group structures like cliques in school classes have to be analyzed. Here, we can use combinatorial models like directed graphs (or digraphs) to describe, e.g., the result of a questionnaire where persons choose other persons in a group. We present test procedures to test the randomness of group structures found by such a procedure of choices.
