Abstract
The UCS-Model of Corporate Sustainability, developed based on an extensive systems analysis, is a qualitative framework that describes the essential elements of corporate sustainability in a lucid way. It forms the basis of the simulation game napuro. For readers interested in corporate sustainability, the paper describes the model, and its validation. For game developers, it describes how the model underlying the simulation game was developed, and incorporated into the simulation game napuro, in order to maximise the learning of the participants. The model is transparent and helps participants to experience the components of corporate sustainability, and their dynamic interactions. This constitutes a fruitful basis for an effective transfer of game experience to practical application.
