Abstract

In this study, we evaluated the location detection accuracy using smartwatch with BLE connectivity. Our experiments were conducted at an electronics store to measure radio wave strength in an environment that reproduced the actual marketing measures being implemented. Based on the radio wave strength obtained in the experiment, the attenuation coefficient was calculated, and the distance was calculated using it. As a result, the error was small for the area near the center of the store, while the error was large for the area in the corner of the store.
