Abstract

With the fast growth of population in the cities, the traffic congestion due to drivers looking for available parking slot is becoming a serious issue. In this work, we provide an improved version of PaSy, a consortium-based parking model, by taking into consideration planned special events, that typically can let high numbers of people moving toward/from the same point of interest. Precisely, we define an algorithm to handle the problem, by taking inspiration from the Distance Vector routing algorithm.
