Abstract

This paper describes ELECTRE TRI ME as a proposal for multicriteria modelling of group decisions. It avoids the common inconsistency of inputing compensatory data into outranking models. It also allows evaluators to have their own sets of criteria, scales and weights. To describe the Proposal works, an hypothetical multicriteria-group decision problem was modelled. The results shown and highlight the inconsistency of adopting compensatory mechanisms of aggregating preferences while modelling multicriteria group decision problems.
