Abstract
The granular layer is responsible for producing the representations which convey the state of the sensory and motor environment to the Purkinje cells. In this paper, a model of the granular layer is presented, and methods appropriate to the analysis of commensurate time-delay systems are applied to determine the Hopf bifurcation characteristics of the model.
