Abstract

This paper deals with two relevant questions: 1. Are the standard speech parameterizations able to detect alcohol influence to speech? 2. Which are the most appropriate phonemes, phonemes crossings and types of parameterization to detect alcohol influence? A small speech database for alcohol influence recognition was built for our purpose. All records in the database were parametrized using standard speech parameterizations and they were statistically evaluated. We found the display of alcohol is evident for all used parameterizations, but the localization in time or parametric domain was less evident.
