Abstract
We have ported 5 codes in APR’s HPF implementation of NAS Parallel benchmark, so that it is conformable to HPF 2.0 and HPF/JA specification. The porting is done with the full usage of HPF 2.0 and HPF/JA new features, while the base Fortran codes remain almost unmodified. Then we have measured the performance of these benchmark codes on Fujitsu VPP800 by HPF/VPP compiler. We have achieved fairly good acceleration ratio for all codes except MG, and better absolute performance than NPB 2.3 parallel implementation with MPI for EP and BT.
