Abstract
This paper presents a way to improve smart card integration in distributed information systems. Multi-application smart cards are able to offer a lot of services, but at the same time they are mainly disconnected. Our main goals are to ease the use of such services and to increase their availability. In order to reach them, we propose a JMSSOAP based platform that enables remote clients both to discover what services a smart card provides and to request any service either synchronously and asynchronously.
