Abstract

We investigate logic-based query language for semistructured data, that is data having irregular, partial or only implicit structure. A typical example is the data found on theWeb.We present the syntax and semantics of SemLog, a logic for querying and restructuring semistructured data, and show how this language can be used to query video data.
