Abstract
This paper presents the effects of “Awareness” in group decisions. The important objectives of this study are: (1) to analyze the group-decision process from the viewpoint of “awareness”. (2) to analyze and compare the effects of using group decision support system (GDSS), and (3) to analyze the decision-making process using a high-performance video conferencing system (involving high resolution and real-size pictures) as well as a general video conferencing system.
